With the harsh winter going by, Jaynari was all alone. Slowly walking through the deep snow with the snow storm not helping she felt the need to find shelter.

The snow has almost turned her fur into the ice making it hard for her to breathe as she started to block up her nose.

Soon after that time, Jaynari to the river near some tribe and sat down shaking the snow off but the snow didn't stop making Jaynari lay down and get covered by the snow.

Rayen loved the snow. But this storm was too much. The snow started to freeze to her coat. She didn't want to be sick so she had to find the scent she noticed a few minutes ago. Even though she didn't love to realise she was worried to leave the territory after their encounter with a sabertooth. But she forgot these thoughts and followed her way. Soon she could see a body of a wolf that layer in the snow. She hoped it was not late... She came closer and saw the wolf breathed. With a strong but gentle voice greeted. "Hello. Are you alright?"

Jaynari laid there lifeless, only her tail twitched from time to time.

She heard the she-wolf but could not reply. She didn't know if the she-wolf was dangerous or not but she didn't want to risk it.

Rayen could see the wolf either not want to reply or she did not have energy. Rayen sighed and said: "You do not need to be frightened by me. I won't hurt you I promise. My name is Rayen from Nawayee Tribe. I want to help you if you want. Can I ask your name?"

She whimpered and lifted her head looking at Rayen. Unable to talk cause of al her energy being drained.

"jaynari ... " that's all she could say as she laid back down.

Jaynari started to loose her energy so Rayen had to think fast. She laid down to the freezing wolf and said. "We have to move to a shelter from this or neither me nor you will survive. I have two options. The first is a cave not far. Or the second.... We go to my pack and they will help you. You choose I do not want to force you into something you do not like."

Jaynari looked at her and lowered her ear. "Cave..." trying to get up she looked at Rayen.

"Okay. " Rayen nodded. She noticed Jaynari needs help so she tried to lift her up. When she stand with a little steady she said:" The cave is not far. Let's go. Do not worry it is not far and I help you. "

Jaynari nodded and followed the she-wolf leaning against her.

As soon they have reached the cave Jaynari laid down near the exit of the cave ready to escape if things gets tense

Finally, they arrived at the cave. But Rayen could see her company still not sure about her. She sighed and started to talk. Again: "As I said before I do not have the intention to hurt or attack you. Here is cold. We need to go deeper because there our fur could dry a little bit. And there is no strange scent so I do not think we should worry about some predator." Rayen smiled at the frozen wolf.

Jaynari looked st the she-wolf and sighs getting up once again and gets deeper in the cave. "Are you okay? " she asked with a weak and scared voice.

Rayen was happy. Jaynari followed her. And for the first time, she asked Rayen. Rayen looked at her and with calm voice answered: "Yes thanks for asking. And you?" UT was oblivious the cold had the great impact on the female but she had to ask.

Jaynari smiled back and laid her headband back on her paws. "Tried " she whispered curling up into a ball to get some warmth. "Thank you by the way "

Rayen sat down. "No problem. Anyone would do it."

Then she asked her: "Do you have a pack or are you a loner?"

Jaynari looked at her and smiles "I'm sure I would be left to die" she added laying on her side now

"I'm a loner by the way ."

Rayen started to talk again: "What are you doing in a storm like this? Not offence just I m curious."

Jaynari looked at her and sighed "I got chased off by other wolves" she answered back

Rayen looked at her and knew this was the time when she had to finish asking. "I... Understand. But I think they won't come this close to a border of a pack." When she looked at the wolf that curled in the floor she had to admit it. She was tired. "I think it was an exhausting adventure so we should rest. I will stay here but tomorrow morning I will go hunt and search some food for you." With this, she laid down a little further.

Jaynari nodded and gets up walking over to Rayen laying down beside her and licking her head.

"Thank you ... I'm jay by the way .."

Rayen smiled and wagged her tail. "Rayen. But call me Ren. Good night."

Jaynari smiled and enjoyed the warmth from the other she would. She didn't know what to the thing, almost every other wolf would not waste time and kill her. But for once she felt safe and smiled falling asleep.

Rayen was happy too. She was glad to help to another. But to think about she couldn't help to her parents when they needed to be torn her heart. But soon forgot her past and fallen into a peaceful sleep.

Taking is as an advantage, Jaynari enjoyed the contact of after wolf. She gathered her strengths while she rested and enjoyed the fact that she did not have to worry about that she would lose her life while she rested.

The storm didn't stop till dawn, and when the light started to hit her fur she woke up right away from her light sleep.

Rayen could feel her company started to awake so when she opened her eyes greeted her. "Good morning. Are you feeling better?"

Jaynari smiled at the she-wolf and nodded. "Thank you once again" she answered as she got up to shake off the water what was left from the ice.

Rayen looked at her: " Your welcome. But you don't need to thank it." Rayen got up yawned then looked at the loner near her. "Do you want to come with me to hunt or do you stay here?"

Jaynari looked at her and smiled. "Sadly I will have to go before any other wolf catches me. She answered as she moved closer to the mouth of the cave where the sun put the warm light over her warming her up.

"OH. I understand." Said Rayen a little bit sadly. She was not sure she is strong enough for leave but if it is her decision she could not force her. "Well.... If it is your decision I think it is time to say farewell. I am happy to meet you and I hope we will meet in the future." Then smiled at Jaynari and wagged her tail. " Goodbye Jaynari. Take care." With that, she started to walk back to the territory of her pack but she lastly looked back to the wolf she met.

Jaynari nodded at the female and watched her walk off smiling softly. For the first time in weeks, she felt safe around other wolves company.

Ryen started to increase her speed. She was happy. She could help to someone. But now she had to go back to her tribe. She let herself to enjoy the wind which was much calmer than in the last night. The large snow was cold but that could stop her and for a moment she could feel the warm feeling in her heart.
